Dr Lily Mushahar is a consultant nephrologist and the President of Malaysian Society of Nephrology (MSN) 2022-2024. She is the Head of Department of Nephrology and Head of Clinical Research Centre Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban Negeri Sembilan. She is also the chair of Negeri Sembilan Society of Nephrology since 2016. Dr Lily received her medical undergraduate (MD) and post-graduate degree at University Science Malaysia and received Nephrology fellowship training at the University of North Staffordshire Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom. She is the Chair of International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) Membership Committee for the past 4 years and a committee member of the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) committee for Scholarship and Award since 2018. She is the upcoming Chair, CME committee, Asia Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN) and a mentor in the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Mentorship program for Vietnam and Indonesia. Dr Lily’s main interest is Peritoneal Dialysis and is active in developing the PD training program for doctors and nurses in Malaysia and Southeast Asia especially Indonesia. She has been active as supporting centre supervisor in ISN Sister Renal Centre program for 2 emerging centres in Indonesia.
