Dr Sunita is the Head of the Department of Nephrology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and the National Head of Nephrology Services of Ministry of Health Malaysia. She is also the Chair of National Renal Registry Malaysia, Chair of International Society of Nephrology, Oceania and Southeast Asia Regional Board Executive Committee and a member of the Asia Pacific Society of Nephrology Executive committee. She is also a member of KDIGO (Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes) and a Member of the Board of Directors, National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia.
