Assoc. Prof. Dr Paweena Susantitaphong received her medical degree, PhD, and Clinical Nephrology from Chulalongkorn University. She received International Society of Nephrology COMGAN Fellowship Award and completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the St. Elizabeth’s Medical Centre, Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston. She has been an adjunct associate professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, USA. She has been promoted to Professor of Medicine and is also Director of Centre of Excellence for Metabolic Bone Disease in CKD Patients, Chulalongkorn University. She received the Outstanding Young Physician Award 2023 from The Royal College of Physician of Thailand. Recently, she is the committee of Executive Director, The Nephrology Society of Thailand and the chairman of the Research and Professional Standards Sub-Committee, The Nephrology Society of Thailand. Dr. Susantitaphong has contributed more than 50 chapters in textbooks and has published over 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as 3,890 citations, H-index 29. In 2022 and 2023, s0he received World’s Top 2% Scientists by Elsevier data update (Stanford University).
